OUR ORIGINS

Hartman Roasting Company started out as one man's journey in getting his wife the perfect cup of coffee. Tired of paying a premium for coffee that had little to no taste, we were left to say we could do better. From there, we learned everything we could about that magical bean we've taken for granted. What we found is that too many coffees sold on the market are poorly paired blends producing too simplistic of a flavor profile. Through continual experimentation, we developed the ideal roasting profile for each specific coffee, and when opportunities arise, we create blends that bring forth depth and complexity.
